Wanita, sosok yang hampir selalu kuat namun tak jarang rapuh dan butuh sandaran. Wanita akan teruji ketangguhannya ketika menghadapi suatu masalah.

Agar tak tergilas oleh emosi negatif saat masalah datang, wanita perlu beberapa langkah sederhana namun sarat makna.... Dalam menghadapi masalah, wanita diharapkan mampu :

1. Selalu bersemangat untuk mendekatkan diri pada Allah sebanyak apapun masalah yang dimiliki. Karena Allah tau yang terbaik untuk kita, maka mendekat padaNya dan selalau percaya bahwa Ia akan memudahkan kita untuk keluar dari segala masalah. Perlu juga untuk yakin bahwa selalu

ada HIKMAH dibalik MASALAH

2. Berusaha berpikir positif. Segalanya berawal dari pikiran.

Positive thinking is gonna lead us into positive attitude of any problem we face

3. Bergaul dengan orang-orang yang selalu berpikir positif dan mencari teman yang memiliki semangat hidup tinggi.

Biar kecipratan semangat, perlu untuk mencari teman-teman yang amat bersemangat !

4. Letakkan masalah pada porsinya, e.g. ada masalah dengan teman di kampus, so dont bring the problem to your home.

Ras Manusia

For knowledge, only.

 As a summary for the teaching material.

Oleh para pakar Ras Manusia disebut karakteristik luar yang diturunkan secara genetik dan membedakan satu kelompok dari kelompok lainnya.

Secara tradisional oleh para pakar dibedakan ada tiga ras utama yaitu:

• Ras Kulit Hitam
• Ras Kulit Putih
• Ras Kulit Kuning

Namun setelah diteliti lebih lanjut ternyata pembagian ras manusia dapat dikategorikan secara lebih rinci lagi menjadi^:

• Ras Khoisan (orang Bushmen atau Hottentot dari Afrika Selatan)
• Ras Australoid (orang Dravida, orang Asia Tenggara "Asli", orang Papua, dan orang Australia)
• Ras Negroid (Kulit Hitam)
• Ras Kaukasoid (Kulit Putih)
• Ras Mongoloid (Kulit Putih)

Pembagian baru ini tidak hanya melihat ke warna kulit saja tetapi juga melihat aspek-aspek lainnya. Ternyata anggota "tertua" ras manusia berada di antara kaum Khoisan, mereka juga berbeda dengan kaum kulit hitam dari Afrika lainnya. Sementara itu sebenarnya hanya ada dua perbedaan utama, yaitu orang Afrika dan orang non-Afrika. Kemudian orang-orang berkulit hitam di daerah Asia Tenggara yang pada zaman dahulu kala mendiami seluruh India Selatan, Asia Tenggara sampai ke Australia, ternyata setelah DNA-nya diteliti lebih mirip dengan orang dari ras Mongoloid daripada Negroid, meski banyak yang berambut keriting dan berkulit hitam. Kesimpulan yang bisa ditarik ialah hanya bahwa pengetahuan kita mengenai ras manusia masih diliputi banyak ketidakjelasan.

1. Ras Kaukasoid

Ras Kaukasoid adalah ras manusia yang sebagian besar menetap di Eropa, Afrika Utara, Timur Tengah, Pakistan dan India Utara. Keturunan mereka juga menetap di Australia, Amerika Utara, sebagian dari Amerika Selatan, Afrika Selatan dan Selandia Baru.

Anggota ras Kaukasoid biasa disebut "berkulit putih", namun ini tidak selalu benar. Oleh beberapa pakar misalkan orang Ethiopia dan orang Somalia dianggap termasuk ras Kaukasoid, meski mereka berambut keriting dan berkulit hitam, mirip dengan anggota ras Negroid. Namun mereka tengkoraknya lebih mirip tengkorak anggota ras Kaukasoid.

2. Ras Mongoloid

Ras Mongoloid adalah ras manusia yang sebagian besar menetap di Asia Utara, Asia Timur, Asia Tenggara, Madagaskar di lepas pantai timur Afrika, beberapa bagian India Timur Laut, Eropa Utara, Amerika Utara, Amerika Selatan, dan Oseania.

Anggota ras Mongoloid biasa disebut "berkulit kuning", namun ini tidak selalu benar. Misalkan orang Indian di Amerika dianggap berkulit merah dan orang Asia Tenggara seringkali berkulit coklat muda sampai coklat gelap.

Ciri khas utama anggota ras ini ialah rambut berwarna hitam yang lurus, bercak mongol pada saat lahir dan lipatan pada mata yang seringkali disebut mata sipit. Selain itu anggota ras manusia ini seringkali juga lebih kecil dan pendek daripada ras Kaukasoid.

3. Ras Negroid

Ras Negroid adalah ras manusia yang terutama mendiami benua Afrika di sebelah selatan gurun Sahara. Keturunan mereka banyak mendiami Amerika Utara, Amerika Selatan dan juga Eropa serta Timur Tengah.

Ciri khas utama anggota ras negroid ini ialah kulit yang berwarna hitam dan rambut keriting. Meski begitu anggota ras Khoisan dan ras Australoid, meski berkulit hitam dan berambut keriting tidaklah termasuk ras manusia ini.

Procedures:
1. Let the students brainstorm their daily activities and when they do it.
2. Tells your daily activities to students.
3. Get the students read the text (in the form of a letter).

Dear my new friends,

I am Linda. I am 12 years old and I am from Yogya. I go to SMP An Nur. I am in class 7A.

Let me tell you about my daily activities.

Every day I get up at 4.30 o’clock. Then, I make my bed, take a bath and pray Subuh. After that, I prepare the books and put them in my school bag. At 5.30, I have breakfast with my family. At 6.15, I go to school by bus. I study at school until 1 o’clock in the afternoon.

After school, I have lunch with my mother at home. Then, I take a nap for an hour. In the late afternoon, I help my mom to clean our house. Sometimes, I also play with my friends.

After praying Magrib, I read Al-Qur’an. Then, I have dinner with my family and pray Isya together. Around 7.15 p.m. I study in my bedroom. I usually go to sleep at 9 p.m.

Well, that’s all I can tell you about my daily activities.

4. Give some comprehension questions for students regarding the text.
5. Get the students identify difficult words/phrases and invite them to discuss the meanings.
6. Ask students to write a letter for a friend next to him/her. The letter should tell the students' daily activities.
7. Provide feedback for students' writing (the use of grammar, appropriate vocabularies, and punctuation mark).

Reaching My Dream

My dreams, with Allah's permission has led me to my recent life. Yap, believe it or not, I've reached my 'dream' when I was studying in primary school.

At that time, I was dreaming of becoming a teacher. I loved seeing my teachers while they were teaching, going around the class to help the students, or bringing some books to be given to us. Well, I had one special silly reason encouraging me to dream of becoming a teacher: being a teacher might allow me to call my students randomly and ask them to answer questions, come forward the classroom, or do any of my instructions!

Hahaa.. I thought this reason as I often felt afraid of being called by my teachers and asked to come forward!

Now, I've reached that noble ambition. In fact, I don't feel as happy as what I've ever imagined when now I instruct my students bcoz now I don't see any fear in their face as I saw in my face many years ago :)

Anyway, I thank Allah for showing me this way and leading me to be a teacher, since I can contribute 'something' to the society and help others needing my favor :))

Yeaahhh, now I find a teacher as a noble profession allowing us to get 'reward' from the society, and the greater one from Allah.
